Christian Ulbricht's roots are in the Ore Mountains region of Germany. When the once-abundant silver mines were depleted, the resourceful locals turned to woodworking. In 1928, Christian's father, Otto, founded Werkstätten für feine Holzarbeiten und Spielwaren," a workshop for fine wooden crafts and toys that thrives today. Despite challenges during World War II and the communist era, the family persevered. Today, Gunther Ulbricht and his children continue the tradition, creating handcrafted wooden decorations cherished around the world.

These are more than just decorations; they are heirlooms, meant to be treasured and passed down through generations.
